Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Both are a type of therapeutic relationship! Therapists offer diagnoses and work within the confines of their specific training in the field of psychology. They often focus on finding the root of your current problems in your past and work with you to unravel whatever you find there. Coaches are often future focused and work to hold you accountable to real-time changes you are making.

What is the difference between a registered dietitian and a holistic wellness coach?

Registered Dietitians provide meal plans, can diagnose, and work with specific medical diagnoses. They often work in clinical settings and are able to take insurance plans. Wellness coaches can work on your relationship with food from a holistic perspective and help you shift your mindset. They can also provide education about the foundations of nutrition and movement and empower you to make the choices that work best for your unique and beautiful life.

Why should I work with you?

You should work with whoever you feel comfortable! Research shows that success is based on the quality of the relationship between the client and coach. Not sure? Book a free consult.

What does coaching entail?

We both show up ready to be focused, vulnerable and willing to push out of our comfort zone (in a safe way!). We pick goals, create a schedule that works for us both, decide how best to approach these goals, and then attack any barriers that come up. Sometimes there will be homework and assignments in between sessions to help keep you focused and in line with your goals. This isn’t about getting an A, it’s about staying on track.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Life happens! You might need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You can easily do this by clicking on cancel/reschedule in the email you got when you booked your appointment. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so just make sure to cancel or reschedule 24-hours in advance..
